Our Client, a multinational company form Hongkong , urgently need:
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – GAS BASED POWER PLANT
(LOCATION : TIMOR LESTE)
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines, quality requirements and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Key Responsibilities will include:
- Project Planning: project costing, scheduling, negotiating with subcontractors, project planning, risk management.
- Project Management and Implementation: Liaise with project stakeholders, manage project critical path, control and direct subcontractors , manager project team.
- Project Control, Monitoring and Reporting: manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- The candidate will also build and develop relationships with the client for smooth project execution and to lay ground work for future projects. He will develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Candidate should be willing to be based in TIMOR LESTE.
Qualifications:
- An Engineering degree, PMP Certification, MBA desirable.
- At least 10 years of work experience in Power Plants / EPC company (preferably) or large-scale project management.
- Good oral and written English.
- Expertise in project management tools, such as Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
